About My Sunny Bunny

Hi, I’m Valeria — the designer, maker, and mother of two behind My Sunny Bunny. In my small studio in Poland, I create personalized plush name garlands, pillows, and toys for children. Every piece begins with my own idea and pattern, and I make it myself, from the first sketch to the final stitch.

A childhood love, a new beginning

As a little girl, my favorite pastime was sewing clothes for my dolls. Although I first studied economics at a polytechnic university, becoming a mother brought me back to that childhood love. I returned to study, trained professionally in pattern making and clothing design for women and children, and made sewing my profession.

In 2022, I had to leave Ukraine and move to Poland with my children. I often made personalized pillows with machine embroidery for my own children and their friends. Those gifts gradually inspired me to build a small shop of my own.

My daughter and I chose the name My Sunny Bunny together. We loved how warm, sweet, and full of childhood it sounded.

The little goose that inspired me

One day, after moving to Poland, I made a plush goose for a friend’s daughter and embroidered her name on it. That same day, her father sent me a photograph: she was asleep, gently hugging her new goose.

It is still the most meaningful feedback I have ever received.

Seeing something I had made become so special to a child encouraged me to keep creating personalized toys and decor. You can still find that goose design in my shop today.

Made by me, especially for your child

I design my own patterns, choose the fabrics, embroider the names, cut the pieces, and sew each item in my studio. The entire creative process stays in my hands.

I care about the details you notice when you hold something: neat seams, soft fabrics, and a carefully finished shape. I choose quality, certified materials with the same care I would choose for my own children.

Whether I’m making a plush toy, a name pillow, or a garland for a child’s room, I’m always thinking about the child it is being created for.

A name, a smile, a memory

My hope is that a child sees their name and feels, “This was made just for me.”

I want parents to feel happy with the craftsmanship and to enjoy the excitement of giving something personal. And I hope that, as the years pass, these pieces become keepsakes of a much-loved childhood.
